The Practice of public relations should be natured

Hello! fellow bloggers I hope you still doing good. Am here to introduce you to my new post (the practice of PR should be natured)a good one to start a weekend. DONT MISS OUT! lets have fun and get inspired.

Throughout the years the practice of PR has played a major role in staging issues of  global importance  to the world. The art has allowed organizations and people in generating support along with the creating towards them.

Think of the advances made in the field of PR which will not only contribute to a more functional global society, but it will also help in policing this world society. Public relations serves as a loud speaker of the world that is also your role as an upcoming PR actioner. You don't have to sit back and watch but hello! we have to stand out and act.

Looking at the Nigerian abduction issue and the whole lot of issues PR actioners has tool centre stage in blowing the trumpet and making people aware of the full impact on these happenings. The role of PR has raised millions and made them aware of what is really happing in the world.

Lets at  look some of the tips the PR role used  to manage the bring back our girls crisis.

DO YOU HAVE POWER?
This involves taking action in unusually events, damage like the Nigerian missing girls. What PRP fear most is the failure to communicate when things are this way. Did they had a choice? ofcos no they didn't. Their role was to make sure they communicate with the people regardless of the environment state . They made sure they have a back up plan and have access to the internet.

HANDLING THE MEDIA REQUEST
The PRP were fully trained to respond to the media in time. immediately they heard out the missing girls they informed the media. Thou they didn't have all the answers, they never ignored the media but they told the media that "we are still working on gathering the information ".

BE WILLING TO HELP IN GOOD  AND BAD TIMES.
They gave their best in helping Nigeria to spread a word to the world. It was a very bad time for Nigeria but one thing I love about the PRP is the support they were giving.

FINALLY TAKE RESPONSIBILITY, IF ITS YOURS TO TAKE
They took it as theirs in order to make communication very effective in all the world. Thou it was too much attached with emotions the strive to do the job to its fullest. Here we clearly see how the role of the PR has influenced the president to full commit in rescuing the girls.

My question is, if it was you being caught in this storm , how would you have handle this as a PRP?
And what is it that you would have done on the bring back our girls for people to recognise your importance or role in PR?

  2. One of the most important things that every Public Relations practitioner ought to do is to communicate constantly, effectively and authentically. Judging by the video's included in your blog, it seems this has been fairly practiced. Although the following point is debatable, I strongly believe that the public is looking for Public Relations practitioners who will provided them with adequate information ethically; that is exactly what I would have done.
